Darren Beggs

Darren has deep roots in East Gippsland, having moved to the region with his family in the 1980s. With over 20 years of experience in industry management, he has worked across diverse sectors, including oil and gas and employment services.

Currently, Darren serves as the Employment Facilitator for the Local Jobs Program in Gippsland, representing the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR). His extensive background includes managing employment provider contracts and holding a key role with Jobs Victoria.

Passionate about East Gippsland, Darren is dedicated to creating local employment opportunities and addressing social inclusion challenges. He firmly believes that employment is essential to driving community and economic development, helping to build a stronger and more inclusive region.
