For the first time in over 25 years, the Great Vic Bike Ride is returning to Orbost as the starting location. Taking in all this picturesque region has to offer, this year’s Great Vic will take you riding (and camping) alongside the Snowy River before heading through Gippsland’s breathtaking region.

So, what does this mean for the local businesses and tourism operators of East Gippsland?

This is your time to market yourself to encourage participants to return to East Gippsland for a visit. Highlight East Gippsland as the place to come back to!

While participants wont have much time on the Great Vic Bike Ride to stop and do much sight seeing, we want to showcase East Gippsland as a place they HAVE to return to and experience.

EGMI are putting together some marketing material and media communications in place over the coming months to ensure we are capturing the interest of the 3000 visitors to our region come November.

Think QR Codes that participants can scan to direct them to reasons why they should visit East Gippsland, paid and targeted promotional posts on social media, pamphlets along the way....
